Bushwalks & Forest Trails
Go and explore the tracks and trails through Coffs Coast’s forests and national parks. Even if you only have 20 minutes, there are short walks available that let you experience our bushlands, rainforests and wildlife. There are plenty of great trails between 2 and 10km – one is even right in the heart of Coffs Harbour. So put on your walking boots and step out into nature.

Our coastline is a long string of beaches divided by headlands. Many of those headlands are accessible and after a short walk you’ll be rewarded with the most incredible views. The hills and mountains in Coffs Coast’s hinterland also provide wonderful lookout points from which to take in the beauty of our region. Wildlife Encounters
Animal lovers will have an amazing time on Coffs Coast. You won’t have to try too hard to encounter a great variety of birds, and if you know where to go (and we’re giving you some suggestions in this section), you’re likely to see kangaroos, wallabies, possums, pademelons, flying foxes, dolphins, whales (in season), a variety of reptiles and you might even be lucky to spot a koala or a platypus.
